Loaded and fired! When I got home last night it was at 1628. During the night it reached 2208 and shut down. At noon it was 850, and now 500. First peek could happen in the morning! #paragonkilns #conesix

Did I mention the salt and pepper shakers are still a bit of an experiment? The first ones I tried, the holes were way too big. This time I made them smaller, but after glazing I learned today I have to drill the glaze out of every hole. Fun! And still the glaze may flow and block them up during firing. If that happens I’ll have a bunch of funky sculptures for sale, CHEAP! 🤣😳😫#potteryfail #hopeful #handbuildingwithclay

Glaze fire loading Levels 1-4. In Grad school learned if a piece of paper can be passed between adjacent pieces, that’s enough room.
